Professional Women’s Baseball returns in 2026 for the first time since the All American Girl’s Professional Baseball League disbanded in 1954, and we have the perfect kit for you!
The Rally Wrap is an exclusive collaboration between Dark Sea Yarn and Sybil’s Yarn Shop. The kit includes four 25g mini skeins in colors representing each of the four cities fielding teams in the new league, a pattern designed by Judi Henrici and Jeanetta Osterhoudt, 6 adorable stitch markers, and four collectible yarn label baseball cards.

Each color representing a new team is named in honor of a woman from the past.
New York: Peanut
Named for Mamie “Peanut” Johnson, one of three women, and the first female pitcher to play in the Negro American League. Nicknamed “Peanut” for her 5’3” height, she threw a surprisingly hard fastball, as well as a variety of other pitches. Johnson was not allowed to try out for the AAGPBL, but secured a spot with the Indianapolis Clowns from 1953-1955.
San Francisco: Bonnie
Named for Mary “Bonnie” Parker, a Canadian catcher in the AAGPBL from 1943-1952. As a former model, Baker was frequently chosen to be the face of the league, appearing on television and in magazines. She was the only woman in league history to fill the role of player manager, and later became the first female sports broadcaster in Canada.
Boston: Flash
Named for Sophie Kurys, nicknamed “The Flint Flash” for her propensity for stealing bases. Kurys played for the AAGPBL from 1943-1952, stealing at least one base 80% of the time. She held the World Record for career bases stolen with 1,114 until it was broken in 1994.
Los Angeles: Lefty
Named for Annabelle “Lefty” Lee, who pitched the first perfect game in the history of the AAGPBL in 1944. One of the few pitchers who could throw all three styles: fastpitch underhand, sidearm, and overhand. Annabelle Lee was also a switch hitter and played on four teams with the AAGPBL from 1944-1950.
